Every teacher at Kynd is here because they genuinely believe in what movement can do for a person's life — not just their body. You'll feel the difference from your very first class.
Claudia has been moving since before she could walk and teaching since she was twenty. She built Kynd in Cairns in 2021 because the studio she needed didn't exist yet — a space where movement is intelligent, music is intentional, and every body is genuinely welcome.
Over 2,500 hours of formal training across yoga, Pilates, barre, meditation and movement science. More than 7,200 hours teaching at the front of the room. A Bachelor of Speech Pathology from UQ. And a deep, personal understanding of what it means to use movement to navigate the hardest seasons of a life.
Claudia is currently on maternity leave welcoming baby number two. She'll be back. She always comes back.
Kynd teachers are trained to a standard, not just a style. Whatever class you choose, whoever is at the front of the room — you're in extraordinary hands.
Aillie is a passionate Pilates practitioner and teacher — as well as a nutritionist, business-owner and mum of three. She brings a warmth and depth to her classes that makes every student feel seen, whatever their starting point.
Aillie loves supporting every body to move in a way that feels amazing for them — and watching the confidence that builds both on and off the mat is what keeps her coming back to teach.
Caroline brings an up-beat, empowering energy to every class she teaches. She has a beautiful ability to hold challenge and support simultaneously — pushing you just far enough while making sure you feel completely held.
A working mama who loves wake-surfing with her family, Caroline brings that same full-body commitment to the studio. Her classes feel like a gift to yourself.
Helen offers a soothing, supportive and deeply empathetic experience. She draws on her passions for holistic healing, the power of breath and the transformative quality of sound — weaving them together into something genuinely unique.
A boy-mama, famous swim instructor and multi-passionate being, Helen brings a quality of presence to her classes that students return to again and again. If you've been looking for something that touches more than just your body — Helen's classes are it.
Kate is fun, playful and radically inclusive. Her background working with children and adults with disabilities means she sees every body as capable, adaptable and worthy of a challenging practice — whatever it looks like for them.
Kate teaches systematic classes that build skill progressively and get you gently outside your comfort zone. She draws on functional fitness, her love of language, and yes — pole dancing — to create a holistic experience that is entirely her own.
Tahlia is Kynd's resident beat-master and hype girl. She has a rare gift — making every single body feel genuinely welcome to move, regardless of perceived strengths or limitations.
Her teaching style is clear, light-hearted and driven by a killer soundtrack. If you've ever left a barre or sculpt class feeling like you just had the best hour of your week — there's a good chance Tahlia was at the front of the room.

Tash has been part of Kynd since before the studio existed — she was one of the first teachers Claudia ever trained, and her presence shaped the culture of this place from the very beginning.
