What’s included
Module 1: Online Learning
Minimum 10 hours pre-training via online modules
20 hours anatomy study via online modules including video tutorials and quizzes
Module 2: Face-to-face learning
50 face-to-face Pilates Teacher Training learning hours in studio
40 hours class participation (can be signed off prior to commencing course - get started today)
10 hours class observation
Module 3: Assessment
Minimum one-hour class planning and delivery in training
Minimum one-hour recorded class planning and delivery with 6 months to complete
Business and personal development plan (optional)
Written exam

Our Pilates classes are fun, engaging and dynamic, leaving our clients wanting more! We are the only Pilates Teacher Trainers in Far North Queensland and our courses are run by owner and founder, Claudia Richardson, highly knowledgeable and experienced in tertiary-level anatomy and physiology; Pilates mat, Pilates reformer and has taught for some of the leading wellness companies and boutique studios in Queensland. Our graduates are now highly sought-after in the Cairns Pilates industry with all our first cohort trainees landing jobs shortly after graduating.

Over the 7 days, participants will undertake comprehensive training in the Pilates method. You will graduate with the confidence and skills to teach dynamic, inspiring and flowing group mat classes. There are no pre-requisites to sign up for the course, however, attending a minimum of 5 Pilates mat classes prior will give you a better understanding of the method to apply to the theoretical and practical information you will learn.

Successful completion of the course is a pathway to gaining an ongoing teaching role with us in studio and we provide ongoing mentoring and will ensure that you graduate from the course feeling confident to teach in gyms, studios or even online!

To receive your certificate in Pilates Matwork instruction at Kynd Studio, you will be required to:
Complete the Pilates course curriculum and contact hours.
The curriculum includes all practical and theoretical components, including 10 hours of pre-course self-study via online modules.
You must attend the 7 days of face-to-face training. This totals 50 hours of content delivery including breaks for lunch, snacks. Written exam will be completed on day 7.
You will then have a further 6 months to complete your 25 hours of online anatomy training, 10 hours of class observations, 40 hours of required class attendance, business plan, personal development plan, 4 x 1 hour class deliveries in studio as a Community Class. You can submit your assessment up to 6 months after you complete your in-studio hours

✺ Refund and Cancellation Policy ✺
Cancellation after course commencement: all teacher training money is non-refundable after the commencement of the course. Under special circumstances and with written confirmation, we may reschedule to the following delivery of the same course.
Cancellation more than 30 days prior to the course commencement: the deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another course. You may be refunded the balance paid (if any).
Cancellation made within 30 days or less of the commencement date of the course: all money paid cannot be refunded, but may be transferred to another course. Course must be completed within 12 months.
Deposit Refund Policy: all deposits are non-refundable, but may be credited to be used towards another course within 12 months.
In the event of the course being unable to be delivered face-to-face, the course will be delivered online.
